During a residence of nearly six years at Corfu, I was enabled, through the kindness of Lieut. - General Sir Howard Douglas, Bart., on whose military staff I had the honour of holding the post of aide-de-camp, to make two very interesting tours in Albania – a magnificent, but almost unknown country.
